The WAH Level 2 technician is ready for the WAH Level 3 course once they have worked in a supervisory position in the climbing industry and have reached the age of 21 years. Before the end of the certification course, the prospective WAH Level 3 will need to complete a minimum of 5.5 hours of First Aid training. The WAH Level 3 course is offered in a blended format with online content, virtual calls with group discussion, and in-person assessment of 8 hours.

A successful WAH Level 3 course enables the WAH Level 3 to preform the following:

  • Create a written work at height plan
  • Select equipment and processes compliant with the CWA Work at Height Standard
  • Perform accompanied and unaccompanied Rescues

You must complete all sections in order:

1. Complete Course Content
2. Attend Mandatory Virtual Call
3. Submit Assignment
4. Complete Final Exam
5. Complete Course Evaluation 
6. Skill-Based Assessment which will be completed by your instructor at a prescheduled date.
7. Schedule and Attend Exit Interview. Must be scheduled with instructor.
